Air Europa launches its route to Honduras with 80% occupancy

Air Europa has launched its new Madrid-San Pedro Sula route with an occupation of almost 80%, according to the airline's president.

This is the entry of the company in Central America, a connection that will also open that Latin American country the doors of Spain and Europe.

This news seems to me very important because, as I said in other posts, the opening of new routes is, for the most part, good for both airlines and countries, both inbound and outbound, because they generate movement of tourists and especially of money for the countries that emit tourists as well as for the countries that receive these tourists.

In my opinion, I would say that it is another way of promoting tourism in the countries, in a way that is usually positive.

The article says that at the moment it will only be a weekly flight, but that surely goes to more, that is to say, that they leave more flights during more days not only weekly.

The ambassador of Honduras in Spain added that the initiative increases the country's competitiveness and stressed the importance of finally the more than 55,000 Hondurans living in Spain have a direct flight to their country.
